High School Musicians

High School Musicians

Beginning in the fall of 2015, the Freeport Community Band opened its doors to the talented student musicians of the Freeport High School. The outpouring of interest and talent was extraordinary. Since their inclusion, these gifted students have brought with them a truly remarkable level of musicianship as well as friendship and camaraderie. We look forward to continuing our association with these talented high school musicians in the coming years.

On June 9, 2016, the first annual Bob Raynor Memorial Award was presented to Samantha Cariello, a Freeport High School senior who demonstrated the most consistent support of the Freeport Community Band.
